This week at Digital Growth Group LLC has been one of reflection, preparation, and deep gratitude. Not just for the business, but for life itself.

I want to begin by saying thank you. To everyone who has followed along, checked in, sent messages, prayed, encouraged, or quietly supported this journey — I feel it. This season has reminded me how powerful community truly is, and how much it matters to know you’re not walking alone.

I also want to share an important personal update: the surgery went well. Recovery is ongoing, but everything is moving in the right direction. I’m already wearing a shrinker sock on the stump, and if healing continues as planned, stitches should come out by the end of the month. There’s still work ahead — physically, emotionally, mentally — but I am healing, and I am grateful.

Even in recovery, Digital Growth Group LLC continues to take shape.

This week marked a meaningful shift in how the business is being built. My wife now has her new laptop, and she’s officially stepping into a more active role — helping design new digital creations and joining me in practice runs for course content and Zoom sessions. Having two minds working together changes everything. It brings balance, shared vision, and strength. What we’re building now feels less like a solo effort and more like a true partnership.

We also focused on preparing the space where this work will happen. A new podcast microphone and Zoom camera arrived, and a new desktop computer has been ordered. Alongside that, we’ve been clearing and organizing our desk area to create a clean, no-clutter setup for future video work. The goal is focus — visually and mentally — so that when it’s time to teach, record, or meet live, the environment supports the work instead of distracting from it.

Even with recovery happening, consistency has remained a priority. Blog posts, podcasts, and weekly recipes have continued to go out as scheduled. That rhythm is becoming one of the strongest foundations of Digital Growth Group LLC. It proves that the systems we’ve been building can carry the business forward, even during hard seasons.

One thing that became very clear this week is where the next learning focus needs to be: email communication. Responding, organizing, and staying on top of messages is essential as the business grows. That will be a key area of focus in the coming week — learning better habits, improving response time, and tightening communication overall. Growth isn’t always about adding something new; sometimes it’s about strengthening what’s already there.

A Christmas Week Message

Since this post is being shared during Christmas week, I want to slow down for a moment and speak from the heart.

This Christmas looks different for me and my family. Recovery has changed the pace, the plans, and the way we move through the season. But it has also sharpened my gratitude. Gratitude for life. Gratitude for faith. Gratitude for family. Gratitude for the opportunity to keep building something meaningful, even when circumstances are hard.

My hope for you this Christmas is simple: that you find moments of peace — even if they’re small. That you feel supported — even if the season feels heavy. That you give yourself grace — especially if life doesn’t look the way you thought it would by now.

Whether your holidays are full of laughter and noise, or quiet and reflective, I pray you feel safe, cared for, and encouraged. Please travel safely, rest when you need to, and take care of yourselves and the people you love. 🙏

Thank you for choosing to spend a small part of your time here with me and Digital Growth Group LLC during this season. That gift means more than words can express.

From our family to yours — Merry Christmas and a safe, peaceful holiday week.

Before closing, I want to highlight something close to my heart.

Many of the recipes I share come from years in professional kitchens, family traditions, and a lifetime of cooking. If you enjoy collecting recipes that carry stories and memories, I created a place for that:
