This week at Digital Growth Group LLC has been one of those weeks where business takes a step back so life can take the front seat — and that’s exactly where it belongs right now.

The home front has been busy and, at times, a little chaotic as we prepare for my wife’s upcoming procedure. This week has required flexibility, patience, and presence. More than anything, it has reminded me why the way I’m building this business matters.

One important milestone did happen this week: I posted the final episode of Season One of the Digital Growth Group podcast. That alone feels significant. This first season has been a learning experience in every sense — learning to talk into a microphone, learning to record myself, learning to hear my own voice, and learning to show up imperfectly but consistently.

Finishing that first season feels like closing a chapter.

If you’d like to follow the business side of this journey more closely — not just the recipes — I also share weekly episodes on the Digital Growth Group podcast.

Season One just wrapped up, and it’s been a real learning experience: showing up on the mic, learning to talk through ideas, and documenting the early stages of building this business honestly and imperfectly. Season Two is already being planned and will go deeper into how I’m structuring Digital Growth Group LLC and learning along the way.

Thanks to everyone who has listened, shared, or even just clicked play — it truly helps more than you know.

I’m already planning Season Two, another set of ten episodes, and this next season will be more intentional. I want to talk through how starting Digital Growth Group LLC has really felt — not just the wins, but the confusion, the trial and error, and the learning curves. I want to explain how I believe there are four pillars that, when established and practiced daily and weekly, can support a real business. Pillars that don’t require perfection — but do require commitment.

In Season Two, I’ll also begin sharing how I took my life experience and turned it into published work, and how I’m now shifting more intentionally toward marketing those publications. My hope is that recording these episodes will help me continue to grow in confidence — not just in what I’m building, but in why I’m building it.

But this week isn’t really about business milestones.

One thing I do want to highlight this week is My Family’s Recipes recipe journal.

This journal was created for all ages and all kitchens. It’s clean, simple, and intentionally designed with plenty of room for ingredients and directions — something I’ve learned really matters when people actually use a recipe journal instead of just admiring it.

The layout is unique, the interior looks sharp, and the space is there to truly collect recipes that matter — family favorites, traditions, meals worth repeating, and notes that don’t get lost over time. It’s a journal meant to be written in, handed down, and used.

I’ll be posting a photo of the cover along with a peek at one interior page with this update.

This one really does fit the bill for everyone.

Today, I get to be present for my wife. And that’s not something I take lightly. Having the love of my life also be my best friend is something I’m deeply grateful for. I thank God often that I’m learning how to be a better person, how to build strong relationships, and how to show up fully for the people who matter most. 🙏

I can honestly say I have never had this kind of grounding and connection at any point earlier in my life the way I do today. I work every day to not be the man I used to be — and part of that work is learning to slow down and be present when it matters.

That’s also why the type of business I’m building is so important to me.

Digital Growth Group LLC is being built in a way that allows for presence. Presence with family. Presence in recovery. Presence in growth. And that’s exactly what I want to teach others — how to build something that doesn’t require you to disappear from your life to succeed.

I’m not done learning yet. There’s still outlining to do, refining to do, and clarity to gain around DGG and what it’s becoming. But I’m moving forward — thoughtfully, faithfully, and with intention.

This week reminded me that success isn’t just about output.
Sometimes it’s about being exactly where you’re needed.

And this week, that place is home.
